One Family - Many Branches
I hope you enjoy looking round

People from a long time ago, but people with stories. There were farm labourers,
and farm owners. Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen.
The picture on the left is the Inn which my ancestors ran for 200 years, they
also worked as carpenters and undertakers in their spare time.
So if you can think of a job or occupation, you will probably find it here.
There were people who moved home, sometimes overseas. One became a Mormon and
travelled with his family by boat to USA, then trekked across America to Salt
Lake City, encountering hostile Indians on the way.
There's a Vicar who left his wife, ran off with the church organist to
Australia, before eventually returning
to finish his career in a quiet parish in
Norfolk and a man who had the banns read at Church 3 times before admitting that
he was already married. Nevertheless, he lived with his true love and they had 7
children together.
There are sad stories of children dying aged only a few months, mothers dying in
child-birth and suicides.
I'll share some of these stories in my
Blog.
I'll do a new one as often as I can..
In the meantime, enjoy exploring.
